Skylar Ellis, an award-winning commercial lawyer, is determined to investigate an arson case in order to save his seriously ill sister. At the same time, she meets Zion Baldwin, the illegitimate son who fights for the family property and clears her mother's name. The two met on their own road, from the initial use of each other, to the later emotional interweaving and fierce confrontation, and finally to the revelation of the truth and the salvation of the soul.
