Nina runs into hot hockey captain Enzo at a party after she catches her boyfriend Justin cheating. Since Enzo's a known player who only sleeps with girls once, Nina agrees to a no strings attached night of fun with Enzo, but when they both catch feelings, Nina learns that Enzo's player reputation is due to a rule: he can't have sex with anyone twice, or they'll die. The catch is...if Nina's his fated mate, she's safe. But that's not all. Enzo's got a crazy ex-hookup who won't let him go and wants to make Lisa's life a living hell. And once Nina lost her virginity, her true hybrid nature emerged, putting her sister Selena's crosshairs. Selena wants to escape the Lycan World by switching places with Nina. While Enzo and Nina try to navigate their budding romance amidst never ending drama, the Sister kidnaps Nina to the Lycan World--all with the help of Nina's internship colleague James. All the while Enzo is fighting to stake his pack's place in the human world by winning a hockey tournament against his sworn enemy Ronan, while Enzo's father plans to marry him off to none other than Nina's sister Selena. In the end, Enzo wins his tournament, and Selena comes into the human world and pretends to be Nina, until Enzo's father blows her cover. Enzo races to the Lycan World to save Nina, and they finally have sex for the second time and learn that Nina is, indeed, Enzo's fated mate. Enzo has one more rule...no more sex without engagement, and he takes Nina as his fiance...and they live happily ever after.
