At ten, Koi was skilled in medicine and gifted in divination. Raised on Mount Celestia, she was adored by her eight masters, especially the eighth master, Iris, with whom she shared a close bond. But her enormous appetite strained their finances, prompting Iris to take her down the mountain to meet Otto, Cloudcrest City's kindest man, in hopes of securing her future. However, due to her color blindness, Koi mistakenly identified Leon Pitman, the feared Cloudcrest Wrath, as her father. Though initially resistant, Leon was touched by her innocence. Unbeknownst to them, Leon and Iris were destined to be together, and Koi might have been the child who tied them together.
